Life looks different than it did in season one.
I bleached my hair and colored it green. Then a purple and blue combo. Getting some firsthand experience with the color wheel.
I am up to date on every turn of Joe Exotic’s appeal process, and know which order to use cleansers, toners, serums, moisturizers, and SPF in my skin care routine. (It’s in that order).
I launched a website, podcast, and YouTube channel, only to take a six-month sabbatical after eleven episodes.
Time is now measured by Chewy.com auto-ship orders and the recurring Netflix charge I aspire, one day, to remember to cancel.
I believe I’ve checked off every square on Quarantine Bingo.
Season two looks different also.
I heard the notes in your fan mail loud and clear. I’m a bit long winded. I get it. Twenty-minute videos about crocheting might not exactly be how you want to spend your precious scrolling time on the toilet. I’m paraphrasing here because my therapist encouraged me to be mindful of how I talk to myself, and “rambling” has a certain negative connotation.
So. Straight to the point.
This time I’m writing and reading my stories, with a lot less videos.
My symptoms have presented more challenges. Every functional minute is now crammed with catching up. Writing is what comes easiest to me, so my cinematic masterpieces will just have to wait.
Don’t miss the first new episode airing Wednesday, April 14, 2021.
